Facebook Book Club

 The Mannville Centennial Public Library has launched a Facebook Book Club which we are urging people to participate in.  All that's needed is to become friends with the Library's Facebook page, post what book you are reading, the author and whether you would recommend it to others to read or not and a little of what the books about.  We think this is an awesome way for people to not only try a new author but to branch out from their otherwise normal books they read.  Reme...  The local FCSS Smile group gathered at the library Thursday morning to socialize, craft and enjoy lunch.  This program is sponsored through the FCSS and if people are interested in participating it's as easy as calling the FCSS and registering.

We've Got Winners

 Congratulations to Brooklyn and Eva our 2018 Winter Reading Program winners.  These lucky girls each won a Samsung Galaxy Tab A courtesy of the Northern Lights Library System which definitely proves reading has it's benefits.  We couldn't be happier for these girls.  We will be announcing the 4 lucky winners of prizes from our own library soon.  Watch for updates.

 The Mannville Centennial Public Library is looking to fill a janitor/caretaker position.  This position offers 3 hours per week with duties to be completed Saturday, Sunday or Monday.  More information is available at the library.

 The Mannville Centennial Public Library is looking for an individual who would enjoy working with the public in a challenging and fast-paced environment.  This is a part-time position with 16 hours per every other week.  Additional hours may be needed in the event of programming or staff shortage.  A full description of the job is available at the library.

Along with our new look for our webpage came a couple of questions as to how to access TRAC.  Here's a quick update. Once you have opened the home page - Mannville Centennial Public Library go to eServices.  As you hoover your mouse the following will appear - How do I  -  click on find a book.  Congratulations to Patricia Smart, winner of a Samsung Tablet, prize of the Mannville Centennial Public Library's Winter Reading Program.  We can't advertise enough about wanting everyone to go to www.laa.ca/youaward and vote for the Mannville Centennial Public Library.
