Live History Theatre

The Mannville Centennial Public Library is pleased to announce that Friday, April 27th a Live History Theatre group from Ottawa will be presenting two one hour, adult only performances at the Crossroads Museum.  The Mannville Centennial Public Library has an opening for a permanent part-time library assistant position. This position is for 19 hours per every other week. Facebook Book Club

 The Mannville Centennial Public Library has launched a Facebook Book Club which we are urging people to participate in.  All that's needed is to become friends with the Library's Facebook page, post what book you are reading, the author and whether you would recommend it to others to read or not and a little of what the books about.  We think this is an awesome way for people to not only try a new author but to branch out from their otherwise normal books they read.  Reme...  The local FCSS Smile group gathered at the library Thursday morning to socialize, craft and enjoy lunch.  This program is sponsored through the FCSS and if people are interested in participating it's as easy as calling the FCSS and registering.

We've Got Winners

 Congratulations to Brooklyn and Eva our 2018 Winter Reading Program winners.  These lucky girls each won a Samsung Galaxy Tab A courtesy of the Northern Lights Library System which definitely proves reading has it's benefits.  We couldn't be happier for these girls.  We will be announcing the 4 lucky winners of prizes from our own library soon.  Watch for updates.

Family Literacy Week

 This week is Family Literacy Week and we are hosting various activities at the library. Tuesday is Mini Golf, Wednesday Under the Sea aquarium craft, Thursday Book Tasting all between 2:30 and 4:30.  It's drop in so feel free to pop into the library and join us.  Thursday between 4:30 and 6:30 we are having Sign Out a Book and Supper's On Us.  Which means you have to sign out a book first then help yourself to soup, chili, a bun, vegetables and dip, Hot Apple Cider, and j... Paint & Pour

 Our last Paint and Pour was another huge success with a total of 34 women coming out to give their artistic talents a go.  Our program is so popular that we decided to try another one Dec. 8th and not to our surprise this evening was booked within a week and a half.  We are encouraging everyone who not only has participated in the past but those that want to join in in the future to register and pay as soon as it's advertised.  This program is a first pay basis as we neve...
