Canadian Library Month

Posted on ago

October is Canadian Library Month and here at the Mannville Library we'd like to know why you choose to visit us.  Are you picking out a book, a movie, using the computers or needing the assistance from our staff?  Whatever the reason we'd love to hear it.  We have a bulletin board at the entrance which we would like you to write your reason on.  By the end of October we hope to have a full board.  Reading opens not only our minds but our imagination.

Crazy Days Of Summer

Posted on ago

Thank you to everyone who, despite the weather, showed up at the library for what was supposed to be a bright sunny day to host a BBQ.  At least that's what we were hoping for way back when, when we booked it.  Special thanks to the Cornerstone Co-op for supporting organizations such as ours.  We are community strong.

Storytime

We haven't had Storytime for quite some time in the library but we are starting again Thursday, September 6th at 9:30 am.  Mike Myhovich has graciously agreed to donate time from his job to read to the children for 20 - 30 minutes every Thursday.  We welcome everyone to bring their children into the library to listen to stories and enjoy a light snack.
