The WI will be hosting a tea at the library Friday, September 22 from 2 to 4. Everyone is welcome to attend.
If you missed our summer entertainer Wednesday, August 16th you missed an excellent performance. This young lady has performed in over 16 countries to over 4 million people and not only did she demonstrate her abilities of the hoola hoop and juggling but her amazing talent of interacting with both children and adults.
We would like to thank the FCSS `Kids Make a Difference" and everyone from the community for participating in our summer crafts each Wednesday at the library during the month of July. We had lots of fun making different kids of crafts and are hoping that some of these masterpieces are on display at the local fair on Saturday, August 19th.

Paint & Pour
What a great night everyone had at the Paint & Pour last Friday evening. 33 women gathered at the Elk's Legion Hall for the third paint night put on by the library. Special thanks to Kelly Broadhead, our local artist, for all her hard work and to everyone else who pitched in for clean up. We know everyone is already looking forward to the next one. Watch our website and Facebook page for updates.
Local farmer Heather Thompson has been looking for and finding fossils for some time now. A few years ago Heather's son found an interesting fossil which sparked an interest for Heather and her family. Upon learning of this fascinating hobby we asked Heather if she could bring some of her fossils into the library and share her findings with the Grade 3 and 4 classes of the Mannville School. It was a real treat for the Grade 4s as this was part of their curriculum this year.
