Annual BBQ Dinner

Our star chef of the day Shantell, cooked up a whole lot of hamburgers and hotdogs while the rest of the board manned the salad, beans, desserts, coffee and water for our Annual BBQ Dinner today.  It may have rained, again,  but once everyone found out we moved the BBQ to the library and gave them the opportunity to eat inside we had an amazing crowd.  Thank you to all who supported our annual library BBQ again this year.  So now I look outside and see the snowflakes comin... Annual BBQ Dinner

BBQ season is fast approaching and the library is ready to host their annual BBQ dinner at the gazebo Friday, June 7th from 11:00 to 1:30.  Cost $10 per plate for Caesar Salad, Baked Beans, Hamburger (with or without cheese), hotdog, square and coffee.  Water is $1 per bottle. Extra hamburgers and hotdogs are available for a cost of $4.00 each.  Hope to see you there!

Library Teas

 Now that the cold weather has finally, maybe, left us for the next few months, we would like to remind everyone that the Library is still hosting teas on the first Friday of the month.  Join us Friday, April 5th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for tea and crumpets and to extend a heartfelt thank you to past Village of Mannville Library board volunteers Natalie Clennett and Al Good for their years of service.

Movie Day

 Friday, March 22 is PD Day at the school and the library will be showing Ralph Breaks the Internet Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm. This is free for anyone wishing to watch. Please be advised that we will be turning off the public and early literacy computers for gaming during this time.  If you children wish to play on the computer they can access them between 10:00 and 1:15 pm and 3:00 pm and 5:00.

Fall Fashion Event

 You are invited to attend the Fall Fashion Event provided by Shine and the Mannville Centennial Public Library.   Vicky Marshall, owner and supporter of SHOP LOCALLY, will be coordinating the Fashion Show by inviting local based vendors to participate and asking members of the community to model for them. Crazy Days Of Summer

Thank you to everyone who, despite the weather, showed up at the library for what was supposed to be a bright sunny day to host a BBQ.  At least that's what we were hoping for way back when, when we booked it.  Special thanks to the Cornerstone Co-op for supporting organizations such as ours.  We are community strong.

RAIN, SHINE, SLEET OR SNOW

 Just like it says "RAIN, SHINE, SLEET OR SNOW, OUR BBQ IS STILL A GO" Despite the weather, Friday, Sept. 21 we are still hosting the last BBQ (for the library) of the year.  Please join us between 11:30 and 1:30 today.  We have tables set up inside for you to enjoy your meal in the comfort of HEAT.   Hamburger/Hotdog, dessert, and a beverage (includes hot coffee) $5.00

BBQ Lunch

 Join us Friday, July 20th between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for a BBQ lunch. Cost $5.00 includes a hamburger (with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese) or hotdog, dessert and a beverage.  We will be set up - weather permitting - beside the Cornerstone Co-op.   Your support to your local library is greatly appreciated and who doesn't enjoy a BBQ lunch in the middle of summer.
